How to Get Rid of Old Acne Scars

This gel you can apply directly to your scar in circular motions; wait for half an hour and wash off the gel with plain cool water. You can repeat this process twice each day.

  • Vitamin E

Vitamin E is beneficial for skincare. You should cut a capsule and squeeze the vitamin E oil on the place of your scar; massage the oil gently for 10 minutes around the spot and keep it for 20 minutes. After waiting 20 minutes, wash off the vitamin E capsule with lukewarm water. You can repeat this process thrice a day.

  • Honey

Before going to sleep at night, take a few drops of honey and apply them to your car. Your scar should be covered with a deep layer of honey overnight. In the morning, wash off the layer with lukewarm water. You can continue with this process every night.

  • Coconut oil

Another way is massaging coconut oil on the affected area for 10 minutes. You should give your skin ample time to absorb the oil. It may take up to 1 hour. You can perform this process two to four times every day.

  • Apple cider

If you have apple cider in your kitchen, take 2 tablespoons from your kitchen and blend it with 4 tablespoons of distilled water; dip a cotton ball in this mixture and gently dab this cotton around your scar. You should wait for the mixture to be dried. You should do it every night before going to bed.
