Due to Corona, many festivals were not celebrated in 2021. Many may have suffered because of this. Especially those who are fans of Psytrance festivities may be very upset. Millions of people gather at this festival every year. And Psytrance celebrations give people a lot of joy. These celebrations leave a mark on people’s minds every year. But don’t worry, this festival will be celebrated with more pomp for you next year. So, let’s first learn about some Psytrance celebrations.
1. The Boom Festival-
The Boom Festival 2020, which was postponed in July this year due to the COVID-19 epidemic in Idanha-a-Nova, has been rescheduled for July 2022.
Intercultural and able to bring together people of all styles and ages, the Boom Festival is no ordinary party but a unique opportunity to live, exchange experiences, learn, teach and practice sustainably through art.
In addition to art and music, the Boom Festival is the most sustainable out there. Everything is designed in an eco-friendly way – toilets that supply chemicals and clean energy from materials that make up the entire infrastructure.
The artistic currents present at the festival are varied, such as sculpture, painting, interactive installation and graffiti. Meetings are multi-disciplinary and focus on the exchange of knowledge between participants. Without enthusiasm, glamour or marketing, what counts within ten days of the festival is art and love. Not surprisingly, many of the participants reported the Boom Festival as a parallel reality experience.
2. OMETEOTL festival-
If you want to know more about some of the natural paradises close to Mexico City, raves are a great excuse. The state of Morelos is one of the favourite places for wild parties, and one of them is only a few days away.
Year after year, OMETEOTL sends a message of unity and harmony to all its attendees. This is the premise of one of the most exotic raves in Mexico, a festival that uses art and ecology as a unification of tribes but also an event destined to achieve an ecologically responsible party within a beautiful space, and last but not least important: it is independent since any brand does not sponsor it.
Under the premise of union and harmony, this musical festival seeks to “elevate the spirit of humanity” through various activities divided into four main axes: spirit, earth, art, and music.
- Spirit: Sacred fire, ceremonies, timescales, altars and offerings, astrology, circular dances, healings and massages, reading of the tzolkin calendar, yoga, and Ayurveda.
- Art: Decoration, visuals, mapping, live painting, performance, dance, circus, acrobatics, magic, clowns, art exhibition, art therapy, art recycling, projections and documentaries, alternative tianguis and barter.
- Music: National and international DJs will perform on stages such as Be Svendsen, Psytrance Music, Gaudi, Eat Static.
Through all these activities and presentations, attendees will immerse themselves in an environment where the body and soul will actively meditate through dance and song.
This festival, which was born in 2009, has grown to become one of the most important electronic music events in Mexico, Latin America and the world.
3. Burning man festival in Switzerland-
Burning Man is based on the participants’ commitment and is not a traditional music festival. The participants are responsible for the activities and their livelihood and for taking care of their rubbish.
Burning Mountain is located above the sea, in the middle of one of the most inhabited valleys in Europe: Engadin! For the tenth time, one of the largest electronic festivals in Switzerland is taking place in Zernez.
A first-class laser show, 3D mapping, a sound system, a huge campsite, a chill-out area with live music and a colourful market are just some of the attractions at this sustainably managed event. The Burning Mountain Festival consists of participants’ contributions, and everyone is welcome to contribute to the event and offer workshops, art, music or performances.
